Terms of Use
Last updated September 2026
By using homeprojectresources.com you agree to the following. We have kept it short and readable on purpose.
The site is free to use
You may use the calculators and read the guides for personal or professional purposes at no cost, without creating an account. You may link to any page here.
Accuracy, and its limits
We work hard to get the numbers right, show our working, and say when a figure is a range or an estimate. Even so, the content here is provided for general information and planning. It is not a substitute for professional advice, a site-specific assessment, or your local building code.
Always verify before you commit money or safety to a number. Material quantities, costs, timings and measurements vary with conditions, region, brand and technique. Where a task involves structural work, gas, electricity, water, food safety, travel rules or anything governed by regulation, consult a qualified professional or the relevant authority. Regulations and published rules change, and the authority named on a page is the one that governs, not us.
No warranty
The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on the content, including purchasing decisions and work carried out.
Your content
If you send us a correction or suggestion, you allow us to act on it and to publish a corrected figure. We will not publish your personal details.
Intellectual property
The text, tools, layout and artwork here belong to FriendlyApps unless stated otherwise. You may quote a short passage with a link back. Please do not republish whole guides or copy the tools.
External links
We link to official sources such as government agencies and standards bodies where they are the authority on a rule. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
